Dandy is the perfect vintage lake cottage to get away from it all. This unique setting is nestled within a small stand of beautiful tall pines right on lovely North Shore Drive. Just one house back from the Lake Michigan shore, you’ll enjoy partial lake views from the back deck, screened-in porch, and even the master bedroom. Newcome Beach is literally just a few steps away, and picturesque downtown South Haven is an easy bike ride or quick drive. Crave more of that awesome lake air? Rent an area golf cart and you’ll be downtown in less than 5 minutes! 
A true cottage, Dandy has been carefully renovated and updated throughout to maintain the feel of a cozy lake house lodge. Filled with wood floors, knotty pine, and a relaxing screened-in porch (with vintage glider), you’ll find loads of charm around every corner. The living room is spacious for lots of family fun and the kitchen boasts a new stove, new cabinets (with a large farm sink for all of those wine glasses!), vintage pine cupboards and a sweet breakfast spot. Two bedrooms on the main floor—as well as a full bath—are perfect for those who don't do stairs. Up the beautiful wooden staircase are 3 more bedrooms boasting more knotty pine, dormer ceilings, comfy beds and a half bath. In addition to central air (and heat), all upper bedrooms have a window A/C unit to ensure a cool sleep on warm summer nights. There’s a newly-added small deck in front, perfect for morning coffee while you relax with your latest getaway read.
Worried about the group not having enough showers? No worries here…a custom-built hot-and-cold outdoor shower is perfect for getting ready or rinsing off on your way in from the beach. Speaking of beaches, close by Newcome Beach makes it easy to return to the cottage for lunch, naps, and potty breaks. And there are many other nearby beaches to explore on foot, bike or auto.
