Mermaid Megafest - May 25-27
A global festival of mermaids and mermen located on the sandy beaches of South Haven.

South Haven Harborfest and Antique Boat Show - June 15 -16
A celebration of Southwestern Michigan's unique maritime history, with free live concerts all weekend. Plus, Dragon Boat Races, Craft and Food Fair, Pancake Breakfast, Kids Activities, Beer Garden, and more. A great way to spend some good old fashioned vacation time with family and friends.

Annual South Haven Art Fair - June 30 and July 1
The South Haven Center for the Arts hosts this annual event in Stanley Johnston Park, a beautiful shady setting along the harbor. Artists from all over the Midwest showcase their creative spirits with oil paintings, pottery, photography, jewelry and more.  A handful of vendors will offer classic lemonade, kettle corn and upscale fair foods.  It's two days of fun with family and friends!

Light Up the Lake Fireworks - South Haven - July 3
One of the most popular Independence Day fireworks in the area, launched from the north pier on Lake Michigan. Walk to the public beaches, Monroe Boulevard bluff or Riverfront Park for fantastic views of South Haven's patriotic display. 

South Haven 4th of July Parade - July 4
The classic small town parade travels through the heart of downtown! Complete with marching bands, floats, pageant queens and fire trucks, you'll find yourself cheering and waving to the kids in the parade. Step off from the High School at 11:00.

55th Annual National Blueberry Festival - South Haven - August 9 - 12
Your family will love you even more when you bring them to South Haven's National Blueberry Festival. Enjoy the Blueberry Parade, Pageant, Blueberry 5K and 10K, and Craft Fair. And yes, your family will totally enjoy all the opportunities to taste and eat Blueberries and Blueberry recipes.

South Beach Triathlon - August 25
Whether you participate in the triathlon or simply come to cheer on those who do, you'll appreciate the beautiful setting for this event.  Athletes can choose to do the Olympic course of 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 6.4 mile run or the Sprint version with 500m swim, 20 km bike 3.4 mile run.  The course incorporates Lake Michigan's crystal clear waters, shady paved bike route and a fast, flat running course.  Even if you don't know anyone in the event, we know everyone needs a little extra cheering on!
