CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES:
The Renter acknowledges that for reservations made through Airbnb, the cancellation policy specified in the Airbnb listing for this property will take precedence over this policy. Similarly, the Renter acknowledges that for reservations made through VRBO, the cancellation policy listed on VRBO for this property will supersede this policy.
- Deposit and Booking: A 50% deposit of the total reservation cost is required at the time of booking. The reservation is not confirmed until this deposit is processed, unless otherwise authorized by the Agent.
- Free Cancellations Within 48 Hours: Renters may cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of booking. After this period, the cancellation policy applies.
- Handling Fee for Cancellations: A $300 per unit handling fee will be applied to any cancellation before arrival. This non-refundable fee will be deducted from any refunded payments.
- Cancellations 45+ Days Prior to Check-In: If canceled 45 or more days before check-in, all payments made will be refunded, minus the $300 handling fee. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Cancellations Less Than 45 Days Prior to Check-In: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 45 days before check-in, due to the challenge of rebooking the property.
- No Refunds for Changes in Plans: No refunds will be provided for early departures, delayed arrivals, inclement weather, or any other change in travel plans, including reduction in the number of nights reserved.
- Trip Cancellation Insurance: The Agent strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance to cover unexpected events like medical emergencies or travel disruptions. Insurance must be added before the final payment date.
