Morning coffee will never taste better as you watch a parade of fisherman, sailing aficiandos and adverturers head down the river channel towards Lake Michigan. The open concept main living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, countertop dining for four and the living area plus fabulous southern views out to the water. Sliding glass doors from the living area and den offer access to the covered deck for additional dining and relaxing space.
A primary bedroom offers a queen bed, walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub and separate shower. A second bedroom on the east side welcomes more natural light and has one queen bed. The den is a blend of living and sleeping space. Gather round to enjoy a movie together, and at the end of the evening close the French doors to utilize the sleeper sofa.
Mariners Cove condos are a favorite year after year. Three blocks away is the Oak Street Beach Access and downtown South Haven is a nice walk through this lovely north side neighborhood.

I appreciated the candid "heads-up" about our noisy grandchildren. I did share it with the older kids and their parents. I did receive an anonymous note on my car and someone rang the very startling doorbell at 10:30 PM which brought all the kids downstairs to see what was going on! I hauled them all back in.

We did feel that, overall, the people who were owners don't really like having a rental unit near them. I do understand that, but since the second half of the week was exceptionally quiet, we were still being given icy stares by the owners. One of my guests is a recovering cancer patient who walks with a cane, hardly a threat. We entertained a few friends, but didn't make any noise at all, nearly everyone who stopped by was over 65!

We called Shores after the VRBO we rented from an owner was misrepresented and was technically a dump. We called right away and Dawn answered. We realized she was the person we worked with a year ago. She got us right into Mariners Cove where we were last year. She is awesome. We even parked right be office and when in to meet her. We love working with her and will call her again for next time.

Mariners Cove 8 was a clean, roomy unit. We loved the large balcony overlooking the pool and the Black River. The unit was well-stocked and everything worked well. The only disappointment was the queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and the sofa bed in the third bedroom. The unit should be advertised as a 2 bedroom or should have a real bed in the 3rd bedroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. Our grill was not working properly and upon calling staff regarding the problem, someone was sent over within the hour to service the grill.....problem solved quickly.

We had a very nice Saturday to Saturday stay at Mariners Cove. The condo was well equipped and roomy enough for four adults and three children ages 6,5, and 2. Nice balcony overlooking the pool and the Black River. The condo was well insulted from a sound perspective....at least we heard little noise from our neighbors. Hopefully, we weren't too noisy for them....no complaints from anyone regarding our sometimes very excited grandchildren.
