WATERS EDGE
POOL AREA
1. Pool area open daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, Abuse will be fined.
2. Pool/Beach tag use by your guests will help co owner identify unauthorized activity.
3. No glass containers allowed in the pool area.
4. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) in the pool area.
5, Flotation devises, rafts, inner tubes, etc. are not allowed in the pool. Non-swimmers may wear a life vest or other device.
6. Running, shoving, Frisbee playing, etc. are dangerous and not allowed within the pool enclosure.
7. Our pool does not have a depth that permits diving.
8. Please, no pets in pool area.
9. Proper swim-wear is required. Children under in diapers are not allowed in the pool or on the apron area.
GENERAL RULES
1. Parking is allowed only in assigned spaces. Have guests display permit cards.
2. No more than 6 people may occupy a 2 bedroom or 9 people in a 3 bedroom unit.
3. Rentals shall not be for less than one week nor more that 30 days without authorization from the association board.
4. All toys and recreation equipment shall be kept deck or in rack provided in the south parking area.
5. Fireplaces are to be carefully guarded, make sure there is no fire burning when you depart.
6. Please consider others when partying. The quiet enjoyment we all want should be preserved.
7. No boats may be stored on premises by renters. Owners may store boats along the north side of beach area. Check coast guard regulations.
8. Beach/Pool tags need to be worn on beach to spare your friends the embarrassment of being asked if they belong.
9. No towels, etc. are to be draped over railings of patio or deck areas.
10. Beach fires are subject to City of South Haven Regulations. Keep in the fire ring provided by Waters Edge so debris is not scattered in lounging areas.
11. Only electric or gas cooking grills are permitted. No charcoal grills allowed.
12. Due to the mess from bird droppings on common areas (beach is common area), feeding the birds, especially the gulls is prohibited.

Dear Guest, Welcome to Waters Edge! We hope your stay with us is enjoyable. We believe we have the most beautiful and unique location on the beach in South Haven. In an effort to preserve everyone's enjoyment of our facilities and amenities, the Board of Directors have adopted several rules, a copy of which is attached. We urge you to read and review them with everyone who will be staying with you or visiting during your stay with us.

Over the years, we have found that most rule violations occur in just a few areas and are generally the result of misunderstanding or misinterpretation. Among the most frequent violations we see are: Rule 4. Children under 12 must be accompanied by as adult in the pool area. This is probably in most frequently violated rule. In addition to prohibiting children under 12 from being in the pool area unattended it also means that 14 year olds are not to supervise 8 year olds. An adult is anyone over 18.
Rule 9 Children under 2 that are still in diapers are not allowed in the pool. the key word is OR, not and. Therefore no children under 2 are allowed in the pool at any time. Over age 2 the issue is not diapers, but control. General Rule 1. Please park only in assigned parking space for your unit.
General Rule 6. Please consider others when partying. The quiet enjoyment we all want should be preserved. It should be noted that this rule extends to (but often is not followed) by children playing in common areas and on balconies. Parents are asked to monitor their children's whereabouts and activities.
General Rule 7. Note that operation of any boat at any speed inside the swim buoys is illegal. We have found that the people who rent Jet skis often do not inform their customers of this fact. The law is strictly enforced and fines of $100.00 are often issued for a first offense (no warning). Further our rules state that renters may not store boats, even for a short time on our premises.
No one likes to be in the position of pointing out violations to their neighbors. If everyone will take it upon themselves to enforce the rules with their own family members and guests, we will avoid this most unpleasant task.
