This gorgeous gem, Hart’s Haven, is located at 213 Clinton St., and with its 5 bedrooms it can sleep up to 12 people in pure unbridled comfort. Every room gives the feeling of being “Home.” Guests often reflect and comment that the familiarity of this home brings about memories of their childhood - though, we are pretty sure that Grandmother’s house never had such modern touches as those found within Hart’s Haven. This home is a beautiful blend of the original interior and a contemporary modernization. There is the famous Blue Stairs Access near Kids Corner (a fabulous playground for kids of any age with picnic tables and bbq grills) to the south, and to the north there is Van Buren St. Overlook and beach access. The Overlook is one of the best spots in South Haven to watch the sunset, the lighthouse, the beach and all the magnificent colors of Mother Nature as the sun crosses the horizon. It can be a breathtaking experience…especially when Friends Goodwill, South Haven’s very own Historic Tall Ship, unfurls her sails against the setting sun.

A ten minute walk will put you directly into the heart of South Haven and all the amazing restaurants and locally owned businesses that make South Haven such a thriving Beach Community. There is the famous Clementine’s, owned by Al Rupert who is a native Entrepreneur that also owns Hawkshead Golf Course; which also features another one of Al’s incredible restaurants. The Restaurant at Hawkshead should be on every “Foodies” bucket list of things to do and explore in SoHa. Their Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast and the Lake Superior White Fish are absolutely delicious! Taste, Tello’s, Maria’s, and the amazing New Park Gastro Pub are all samples of “Must Try” for anyone who loves gourmet foods! Hart’s Haven is a perfect place for families and friends to gather and go out and explore South Haven, the Greater Blue Star Highway and all the places in between. There is usually too much to do when you come to South Haven, that you and your loved ones will have to come back a few times to explore everything.
