The following rules have been designed to provide for and protect the lifestyle associated with Bent Tree. These rules are in addition to the Bent Tree Association By-Laws.
Co-owners, renters and all guests must conform to these rules.

POOL
No glass or breakable containers are allowed.
Absolutely no diving into pool.
Pool and hot tub hours are 9:00 am. to 11:00 p.m. The last hour is for adults only.
Current Bent Tree identification tags are to be worn by unaccompanied guests and renters while in the pool/hot tub.
Children 12 and under must have adult supervision in the pool and hot tub area.
Rafts, inner tubes, and other toys are not allowed in the pool.
Running, shoving, diving, and splashing are absolutely forbidden.
Please, no food items in the pool/hot tub area.
Children in diapers or training pants are not allowed in the pool or hot tub.
Please use products such as Little Swimmers if your child will be in the pool.
Furniture removal is not allowed.
BEACH
No glass or breakable containers are allowed.
Current Bent Tree identification tags are to be worn by unaccompanied guests and renters at all times.
Remove debris from beach area and deposit in receptacles.
No loud radio/TV playing allowed, headphones should be used at all times.

PLEASE STAY OFF THE DUNE – OUR ATTEMPT IS TO PROTECT THE BEACH DUNES. PLEASE DO NOT PLAY ON OR WALK THRU THE DUNE AREA.


TENNIS COURT
Players must honor the sign in sheet.
One hour of play per group on court. Maximum sign up time per day is two (2) hours, not consecutive. You cannot use another unit co owner's name to reserve court time or prolong playing time.
Even if you have not finished play you must give over the court to players signed up for the following hour. All play commences and ends upon the hour.
The hours are 7:00a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please don't play before or after those hours.
Tennis shoes only. No other shoes allowed on the court. Black-soled tennis shoes are not allowed.
Current Bent Tree identification tags must be worn by unaccompanied guests and renters while in the fenced in tennis court area.
Players are responsible for cans, balls, and other equipment and same must be removed from court after play.
Players should lock up the tennis court and warm up hut when leaving.
Please, no food items in the enclosed tennis court area.
GENERAL RULES
Parking is allowed only in assigned spaces and/or on North Shore Drive.
No more than the assigned number of people per unit may occupy a unit: 5 people per one bedroom, 7 people per two bedroom and 9 per three bedroom. All toys, bicycles, and recreational equipment shall be kept on unit patios or decks.
These may not be left on sidewalks or lawns.
Fireplaces are to be carefully guarded - make sure that here is no fire burning in the fireplace upon departure.
Please avoid noisy parties. The quiet enjoyment we all want should be preserved.
Do not ask the maintenance man for special services while he is on duty for the Association. Any services you may wish from the maintenance man, J.C. Hartsfield, should be contracted independently between you and him. Please call Gardner Management Company (269-323-7774) with any problems.
Do not place towels over balcony rails.
Air conditioning units should not be left on while windows open.
No owner/renter should alter the landscape.
PETS
Owners are allowed pets in accordance with the bylaws. Renters and/or Guests may not bring pets.
All co owner's pets must be leashed while outdoors.
Pets may not be leashed unattended to decks.
Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
Owners are responsible for insuring their pets are not a nuisance and for proper disposal of excrement on or beyond the Association property and on the beach.
