This property is lovely. Peaceful colors. Very modern. Even the dishes and glassware were nice! The central Living Room is located right next to Kitchen, so everyone interacts. And the Front Porch is perfect for after the beach. Our entire family enjoyed it.

Truly wonderful property for a family vacation. There is tons of space to spread out and a great play area in the basement for kids. The kitchen has everything you could want or need. There is also a room filled with outdoor recreational gear - bikes, paddleboards, beach chairs. This was awesome to have available!

Overall, it was the perfect long weekend stay for our group! There was something for everyone. The teenagers loved venturing down to North beach in search of action while the moms loved sitting on the porch drinking wine or watching the sun set from the nearby beach each evening. The kids also enjoyed ending the night around the fire pit out back. The huge sectional in the living room was the perfect gathering spot for the whole group. We all loved the house!

We stayed the weekend for the Ice Breakers Festival. Our family has a great time with all the winter family fun activities, making Smores, horse wagon rides and seeing all the ice sculptures. They have an adorable outdoor ice skating rink, my kids loved it so much we went both days.

This house is better than it seems on the website. The front porch and the kitchen/dining room/living room area are great gathering places. The huge table is great for food prep and can squeeze 12 people. The kitchen is well supplied. It even has good knives. All bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. The house is a two-minute walk to the beach. There's a nice wagon for transporting little kids and supplies and a hose in the backyard for cleaning sandy feet. There are even indoor toys and beach toys for little ones. There were two disappointments. The Internet didn't work most of the week. Also, it seemed like the grill hadn't been cleaned for a long time, which resulted in quite a grease fire (no damage done). All in all, it was a great place for a family beach week.

Our part of 6 adults and 6 children found this house to be just about perfect for our South Haven beach vacation. So easy to get to the public beach on Oak street and walking to a fun corner store and paddle board rental place make this location great. We appreciated the way this house was set up with great storage, great kitchen tools, nice decor and plenty of room for all to enjoy the week. That front porch is awesome!!! We certainly hope to be back at You are my sunshine for future vacations.
